Ricky’s Teaching studio:

I am a classically trained vocalist with experience singing multiple genres including, but not limited to, opera, musical theatre, pop, and folk.

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with my students. For the past eight years of teaching privately, my teaching philosophy has been empowering my students technically and artistically to freely express their authentic selves. I customize my teaching with each student to meet their needs and to help them to accomplish their individual goals.

西北大学和耶鲁大学学院派的美声训练和各大剧院的工作经历的建立了我的声乐基础和教学风格，近几年因为不同舞台机会我开始慢慢融会贯通各种风格的演唱（美声，音乐剧，民歌，通俗）并寻找自己独特的声音。

2015年当我还在西北大学读研的时候，我的第一波学生们是本科音乐剧专业和非音乐专业想要唱好歌的同学们，不知不觉我的声乐工作室已经走过了8年。和大家分享我在学校，剧院，舞台上的知识和经验是一种非常有意义和成就感的工作，我希望可以帮助我的学生们酣畅淋漓用自己自由真实的声音传递灵魂深处最纯粹的情感，更好的为作品服务。
